To achieve the best results from your Spray Aus tan, follow these pre-tan tips to ensure an even, long-lasting glow:

1. Exfoliate
   
   • Exfoliate your skin 24 hours before your appointment to remove dead skin cells and create a smooth base for the tan.
   • Use a gentle, oil-free scrub or exfoliating mitt.

1. Hair Removal
   
   • Shave or wax at least 24–48 hours before your tan to allow your skin time to recover.
   • Avoid shaving or waxing on the day of your appointment to prevent skin irritation.

1. Avoid Lotions and Products
   
   • On the day of your tan, avoid applying moisturizers, oils, perfumes, or deodorants, as these can create barriers and result in uneven application.

1. Wear Loose Clothing
   
   • Opt for dark, loose-fitting clothing and sandals to avoid rubbing the tan during development. Tight clothing can cause streaks or smudging.

1. Clean Skin
   
   • Arrive with clean, dry skin. Remove all makeup, deodorant, or other products before your tan.

Proper aftercare is essential to maintain your tan and ensure it fades evenly. Follow these steps to keep your glow fresh and long-lasting:

   • Wait the recommended time (1–6 hours depending on your desired depth) before rinsing off the bronzer with lukewarm water.
   • Avoid using soap or scrubbing during this first rinse. Gently pat dry with a towel.

1. 17 Hours After Your Tan
   
   • After 17 hours, you can take a normal shower with soap and wash your hair.
   • Avoid harsh scrubbing or exfoliating during this shower.
